Practical

Where your work
actually lives.

Not a promise. A description of how the tools are built, which you can check against the software itself.

Your files

Your files stay on your computer. Every rebuilt tool reads what you open straight from your own disk, in the browser, and saves back to it. Your FCS files, plate maps, panels and Ct tables are not uploaded, not copied, and not seen by us.

Two tools send data while they compute. TwistPlot posts the table you import so that R can run the statistics and build the publication export. LavaSEQ posts your count matrix so that DESeq2 can run. In both cases the file is deleted as soon as the job finishes. If that is a problem for a particular dataset, the rest of the suite does not do it.

AI features use your own key. The gating assistant in CytoMix and the interpretation in LavaSEQ call Anthropic straight from your browser, with a key you paste yourself. It is held in memory for that session only: never written to disk here, never sent to an Atlascope server, never logged.

What we hold about you

The complete list.

  • Your account: email address, display name, and the avatar you picked.
  • Your access rights: which tools you can open, and any pending request.
  • One line per tool per day recording that you opened it. It drives the "new version" badge and the usage figures in your workspace. It records the fact of an opening, never what you did inside.
  • Anything you write to us: a support message or a piece of feedback, with the email address it came from, because otherwise we cannot answer.
  • Nothing else. No third-party analytics, no advertising identifier, no tracker.

What this site stores in your browser

  • Two cookies, once you sign in: one that proves who you are for an hour, and one that quietly renews it so a session does not die in the middle of your work. They are set on getatlascope.com and its subdomains, and signing out removes them.
  • Your own settings, kept in the browser's local storage: the theme, the widgets you arranged, the tool you had open. They never leave the machine.
  • No cookie for measurement or advertising, which is also why there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

The public pages of this site load their two typefaces from our own servers rather than from a font service, so that reading them sends nothing to a third party.

Deleting your account

In your workspace, under Account, "close my account" is immediate and irreversible. It deletes your account and sign-in, your access rights and your pending requests. It does not delete the files on your own computer: they were never ours to remove.

Terms and privacy notice: where we actually are

Not published yet. Atlascope is in closed beta and free to use. Terms of use and a formal privacy notice have to be written and reviewed by someone qualified before they mean anything, and we would rather have nothing than a copied template that says what we do not do.

Until they are published here, nothing on this page is a contract: it describes how the software behaves. What it describes is true, and it is the same text that account holders see inside the product.

A question about your data in the meantime, or a request to see or delete what we hold? Write to support@getatlascope.com. It reaches a person.
